Quest Consumables has become the latest supplier to sign up to PACT electronic trading with motor factors in the automotive aftermarket.

Quest supplies a comprehensive range of workshop consumables, tools, and health & safety products to an increasingly diverse range of customers and distributors across many industries. The Quest product line-up includes a number of prominent brands including Fixt, FIXTPRO, Force, OnHand, ACE and UNIOR.

With incredibly high volume products, electronic trading is already playing an instrumental role in helping manage and simplify a potentially complex paper trail for Quest consumables.

Ian Russell, Quest sales director, explains: “Covering numerous industries and product sectors, we work with many electronic trading platforms to ensure our service is as efficient as possible. Becoming a PACT enabled supplier means that automotive aftermarket customers will receive this same high quality service.”

Mark Rudge of PACT, added: “Quest Consumables is a great example of how the PACT initiative can work with many different businesses within our industry. There are currently more than 2000 motor factor locations trading electronically with over 80 suppliers, all of which are benefiting from increased efficiencies and reduced waste.”

In recent months, Suplex Springs and Wix Filters have embraced PACT electronic trading. In addition to a more efficient trading relationship, the benefits of PACT are reduced time to information through real time connectivity leading to: Enhanced availability of parts, accurate pricing, fewer invoice discrepancies, optimised good inwards process and invoice matching capability.
